We enjoyed the character of the hotel and the location. Very easy to access and minutes walk from shops and sea front.
Dislikes:
Some wear and tear in the decor which was a shame as we liked the idea of each room individually decorated with a theme.
Room faced out onto noisy street with extremely loud music blaring beyond 1am.

The hotel room was picturesque, couldn't have asked for better.
The staff were friendly and helpful from the day I booked to after we checked out, answered all questions and went the extra mile.
Dislikes:
Breakfast was included yet a bit of a let down, not much choice, average.

Interesting room. Not generic. Great location.
Dislikes:
Rooms at the back of the hotel suffer noise from the busy street. Jacuzzi bath did not work in our room.

Room was great, very clean and tidy and close to town. Did not have any problem with noise in the area although it was a week night.
Dislikes:
Staff could have been friendlier and breakfast could also have been more complete (had to ask for tea and coffee)

The Hotel receptionist was extremely accommodating and managed to find us a room for the first night (of 2) and recommended 3 other hotels we might try.Our room was comfortable but as we are in our mid-6o's I found the climb to the 3rd floor a real struggle. No hot breakfast but plenty of continental fayre. Excellent area for restaurants and access to the town. Read less
